How to Choose the Right Paintbrush for your Painting

It's sometimes hard to select the right paintbrush to use. We've made it easier for you by choosing our favourite brushes and letting you know what they are used for. You can use one or more of the following brushes for every single painting we have in this membership.  You can use what you already own, we can sell them to you or you can pick them up from your local art supplies store. We supply brushes from an Australian owned company.

ROUND 6
Ideal for fine, continuous line work. Maintains an even, controlled stroke ideal for outlining.

ROUND 12
Wide, rounded design which makes it ideal for edging effects and blending.

FLAT BRUSH 10
Shorter flexible bristles are good for blending or large covering brush strokes.

FLAT BRUSH 16
Produces long fluid marks. Fantastic for filling in large areas of colour and can be used on the side for thinner lines.

ROUND BRUSH 4

 FLAT BRUSH 7
Used for short, controlled strokes and with thicker colour.

SMALL FAN BRUSH 7

ROUND BRUSH 8
